Changelog

Built in public.

Every shipped release, every rubric update, every deal-index milestone. If we change how the Founder Fairness Score works, you read it here first — and the version it was scored against is preserved forever.

    DIRECTORY

VC directory, dynamic /how-it-works, USD-only pricing

Three big shipping items: a public VC directory at /vcs with sortable Founder Fairness Scores across 15 firms, a fully-rebuilt /how-it-works that runs the product live as you scroll, and a refactored pricing page where founders are explicitly free forever and only VCs pay — in USD.

    • /vcs: public directory with score, fund size, value-add bar, win/loss track record and deal volume per firm. Sort by any column, filter by region (APAC/EU/NA/LATAM) and stage. Fifteen sample firms with Founder-Endorsed and Unclaimed status badges.
    • /vcs/[slug]: per-firm detail page with score breakdown, fund size and AUM, track record, signature push and signature win, recent flag patterns, verified founder reports, and on-the-record firm responses.
    • /how-it-works: each of the five steps now ships with a live animated mock — file-upload progress with encryption tween, real-time clause extractor that lights up 12 clauses, flag-library matching with red/amber/clean rows, count-up Founder Fairness Score with sub-score bars, and a typewriter draft-reply card. All gated by IntersectionObserver, all respect prefers-reduced-motion.
    • /pricing: rewritten with three VC tiers in USD (Angel $99/mo, Fund $499/mo, Enterprise custom). Removed the Pro founder tier — founders are now "free forever, no limits" front and centre. Added a side-by-side founders vs investors comparison.
    • Site-wide: every £ reference in copy on /product and /sample-report swapped to USD with consistent rounding. Header and footer nav now include /vcs.

    LAUNCH

    TURNSHEET marketing site goes live

Public site at turnsheet.co. Founder waitlist open. The Red Flag library opens with 30 fully-explained predatory clauses, the Reform Pledge opens for VC signatures, and the Founder Capital Pool ledger is wired up and waiting on first inflow.

    • Launched the founder waitlist with regional segmentation across APAC, Australia/NZ, North America, Europe.
    • Published 30 full red-flag entries — plain English, why it matters, how to negotiate, and example language for each.
    • Opened the Reform Pledge: VCs can publicly sign on to founder-friendly term commitments.
    • Established the Founder Capital Pool transparency ledger structure. First entry posts when first VC subscribes.

    DEBT

Debt financing red flags now live

Eleven new entries covering venture debt, revenue-based financing, convertibles, SAFEs, and the founder personal guarantee — the clauses that quietly trigger collapse. Browse them at /debt-flags.

    • Venture debt: MAC clauses, financial covenants, IP security interests, warrant coverage, and springing recourse — the levers a lender pulls when a round slips.
    • Revenue-based financing: uncapped revenue share and prepayment penalties — how RBF turns into permanent tax on growth.
    • Convertibles & SAFEs: post-money SAFE stacking, MFN cascades, and uncapped valuation caps — the silent dilution founders only see at the next round.
    • Bank debt & equipment leases: the founder personal guarantee — the single clause most likely to follow you out of the company.

    PRODUCT

Product showcase, pricing, sample report, methodology

Five new pages added to make the product story concrete before the app ships: /product walks through the full upload → score → negotiate flow, /how-it-works summarises the workflow, /pricing shows the three tiers (Founder free during beta, Pro at launch, Firm for VCs), /sample-report is a fully worked Acme Robotics analysis, and /methodology publishes the entire scoring rubric in the open.

    • /product: end-to-end story with faked dashboard mockups for upload, extraction, score, flags, negotiation, export — now an interactive sticky scroll walkthrough where the dashboard panel swaps between six product views as you read.
    • /how-it-works: 5-step explainer with security and privacy strip.
    • /pricing: Founder (free), Pro (£49/mo at launch), Firm (custom for VCs and law firms).
    • /sample-report: Acme Robotics Series A worked example, composite Founder Fairness Score 47, 9 flags with full negotiation language.
    • /methodology: the full equity rubric, debt sub-rubric, scoring formula, and provenance.
    • Waitlist counter (currently seeded at 247) appears across new pages and at the bottom of every flag entry.
    • Nav and footer restructured into Product / Resources / Company columns.

    HOME

Homepage refresh, About + FAQ pages

Added /about and /faq, and lifted the homepage from a text-heavy explainer into a more visual product introduction — animated hero analysis card, a live-deal pulse marquee, an animated three-step flow, and a Founder Fairness Score distribution chart over the beta corpus.

    • /about: origin story, four founding principles, team placeholders (named at seed close), build-in-public manifesto, direct contact lines.
    • /faq: five sections (founders, VCs, lawyers, privacy & data, the rubric) with a sticky table-of-contents and accordion answers.
    • Homepage hero: drifting grid background, sample analysis card flag rows stagger in, Founder Fairness Score counts up from 0 on load.
    • Live deal pulse strip beneath the hero: continuous marquee of recent (illustrative) deal scores across regions and stages.
    • How it works: rebuilt as a connected three-step flow with an animated dashed connector line and circular icon badges sitting on the line.
    • Score distribution chart: ten-bucket histogram of Founder Fairness Scores across the beta corpus, animates on scroll.
    • Footer: added FAQ to the Resources column.

    INDEX

Deal Index begins indexing APAC term sheets

We started ingesting and classifying real APAC term sheets to build the regional benchmark database that powers the Founder Fairness Score.

    • Source: founder submissions, public filings, and partner-firm contributions.
    • Privacy: every submission is stripped of names, emails, and identifying details before classification.
    • Goal: 1,000 term sheets indexed by Q3 2026 across SEA, Greater China, Australia/NZ, and India.

    RUBRIC

Founder Fairness Score rubric v0.9 published

The scoring rubric is open and versioned. Every clause's penalty, the regional benchmarks, and the calculation method will be public from day one.

    • v0.9 is the pre-public draft. v1.0 ships with the product launch.
    • Each rubric version is timestamped and immutable — historical scores will always be reproducible from the rubric they were generated against.
    • Founder feedback on the rubric is being collected via the waitlist intake.
